Terms and Conditions of Training

The following is an extract from out General terms and Conditions applying to all training classes. Please refer to our current for the full Terms and Conditions.

Fees/Charges:
1.1 Prices are inclusive of tuition, Course Materials, refreshments and the reasonable use of materials, publications and machines (where applicable) by the Delegate for the period of the Course.
1.2 The price does not include any living expenses which the Delegate may incur in attending the course.
1.3 The price does not include any accommodation unless Axis Open Source Corporation confirms to the customer that this is the case.
1.4 For some residential courses a charge will be made for accommodation in addition to the price of the course and will be included in the invoice. Accommodation prices may vary according to the hotel being used for a particular course date. If Axis Open Source Corporation quotes a separate accommodation charge for a particular course then the amount to be invoiced for this will be confirmed to the customer at the time of the booking.
1.5 Prices quoted exclude applicable sales taxes which will be added at the current rate.
Payment Terms:
2.1 Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
2.2 Payment will be considered not to have been made if Axis Open Source Corporation is not able to process for any reason the credit card details supplied by the customer.
2.3 All Courses booked by agreed Purchase Order must be paid in full within 15 days of an approved invoice. Late payment will incur interest charges at the rate of 2% per month or pro-rate per diem.
Substitutions, Transfers and Cancellations by the Customer:
3.1 The Customer may substitute a Delegate on a Public Course upon notification at no additional charge subject to the new Delegate meeting the prerequisites.
3.2 The customer may change the date of attendance of a Public Course upon notification at no additional charge subject to the following scale of charges:

For certain courses supplied to Axis Open Source Corporation by third party the supplier’s cancellation and transfer fee may apply.
3.3 In relation to transfers the Customer agrees that if a replacement booking is not confirmed within 7 days then the full Public Course fee is payable.
3.4 In relation to changes of date of attendance or cancellations of attendance at courses with an additional charge for accommodation Axis Open Source Corporation will issue a credit note for accommodation charge less any cancellation charges incurred by Axis Open Source Corporation with the vendor holder.
Cancellations and changes to Public Courses by Axis Open Source Corporation:
4.1 Axis Open Source Corporation reserves the right to cancel or change a Public Course and undertakes to provide reasonable notice of the cancellation or change except in an emergency.
4.2 The Customer will be entitled to a refund of any fee paid to Axis Open Source Corporation in the event of a cancellation or change to the course date or significant change in venue but shall not otherwise be entitled to compensation or costs or damages arising from such a cancellation.
Prerequisites & Admission:
5.1 Axis Open Source Corporation reserves the right to refuse or curtail the provision of training services if a Delegate or substitute Delegate attending on behalf of the Customer fails to satisfy the requirements of a Public Course as published.
5.2 Axis Open Source Corporation reserves the right to refuse admission to any person whom it considers in its absolute discretion to be unsuitable for admission to Axis Open Source Corporation Premises or to remove any such person after the commencement of a Public Course.
